After the atrocities committed by the Israeli navy in international waters by shooting dead members of a unarmed civilian humanitarian aid flotilla bound for Gaza to help the Palestinians who have been herded and walled into the Gaza strip in what has been described as the world’s biggest outdoor prison, people in countries all round the world demonstrated on May 31st to show their anger at Israel which continues to flout international law. Here are some photographs of the Glasgow demonstration which took place in George Square. Scottish demonstrations also took place in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness, Stirling, Banff and Moffat. Edinburgh 5th June demo photos here.
